My Profile Most recently, I have lived and worked in Vancouver and Ottawa. I specialize in planning, evaluation, performance measurement, and results-based management, particularly in relation to the public sector and not-for-profit organizations. While in Ottawa, I worked with the Foreign Affairs Canada (while it was still the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade), in the Corporate Finance, Planning and Systems Bureau. Before that, I worked with a small consulting firm (Performance Management Network Inc.), also in Ottawa. I am an active member of the Canadian Evaluation Society and the American Evaluation Society. In 2003, I was one of a small team of organizers for the Canadian Evaluation Society’s Student Case Competition, a unique capacity-building competition. Competing post-graduate students from across Canada analyse an evaluation case in English and French. The three qualifying teams compete at the Canadian Evaluation Society's annual conference. As an organizer, I worked with three colleagues to contact and solicit student competitors, judges, sponsors, and coordinate the two rounds of competition. |
